Delete your Powerline account

This page is for the Powerline app (package com.modezero.group_announcement_app), published by Modezero IT Solutions.

Delete it in the app

This is the fastest way. Deletion runs as soon as you confirm.

  1. Open Powerline and sign in with the Google account or email you used to register.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. Tap Privacy & Security.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm Delete. You will be signed out. The account cannot be restored.

If you are the only admin of a group, the app will stop the deletion and ask you to assign another admin first. After that, repeat the steps above.

Request deletion by email

Use this if you cannot open the app. We delete the account after we confirm the request is from the account holder. We aim to complete email requests within 7 days.

This opens your email app addressed to modezeroitsolutions@gmail.com. You can also write to that address yourself with the subject “Delete my Powerline account”.

Data we delete

  • Your sign-in account (email, Google sign-in, phone number, and password credential).
  • Your profile: name, email, mobile number, profile photo reference, role, and last-seen time.
  • Your member-directory listing, so you no longer appear in member search.
  • Your membership in each group, including your admin or member role.

Data we keep

  • Announcements you already sent stay in the group so other members still have the history. Those messages can still show the name and photo saved when you sent them.
  • Groups you created stay, including the group name, image, and messages, as long as another admin remains.
  • Your uploaded profile image file may remain in storage after the profile record is removed.
  • Device notification tokens and in-app notification records stored under your user id may remain until a later cleanup. They are no longer attached to an active sign-in.
  • Analytics and crash data already sent to Firebase may be kept by Google under its own retention schedule. It is not used to restore your account.

Retention

In-app deletion removes the account, profile, directory listing, and group memberships immediately. There is no extra waiting period for those records, and the account cannot be recovered.

Copies that remain, listed above, stay for as long as the group exists or for the retention period of the service that holds them (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and AdMob). Email us if you also want announcement sender names anonymized; that is a separate request because it changes history other members rely on.
