Privacy Policy
Who we are
Powerline (“Electricity updates. Instantly.”) is a group announcement app for companies, schools, communities, clubs, and other organizations. Group admins post announcements. Members can read them, react when the group allows it, and receive notifications.
The app is operated by Modezero IT Solutions (“we”, “us”). Contact: modezeroitsolutions@gmail.com.
Information we collect

We do not ask for your contacts, precise location, or SMS contents. Phone verification uses a one-time code sent by Firebase Authentication. Photos are uploaded only when you pick an image for your profile or a group.
Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication. Powerline does not store your password.
How we use information
- Provide sign-in, groups, announcements, reactions, and push notifications.
- Show your name and photo to other members of groups you belong to.
- Let organization admins search the member directory by name, email, or mobile number when adding people to a group.
- Keep groups safe by applying server-side rules so only admins can post.
- Measure reliability, diagnose crashes, and decide when to show ads.
- Check for app updates through Google Play on Android.
Who we share it with
Other members of a group can see the group name, announcements, sender name, sender photo, and reactions. Admins of a group can see member names and contact details stored on the membership.
We use these processors to run the app:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and App Check.
- Google Sign-In — when you choose that sign-in method.
- Google AdMob — to serve ads. Google’s ad policy is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- Google Play — in-app update checks on Android.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the app, our users, or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and group data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app. See the Delete account page for what is removed and what stays in group history.
Diagnostic and advertising data is kept according to Google Firebase and Google AdMob retention settings. Local settings stay on your device until you clear app data or uninstall Powerline.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Access to group messages is limited by Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules. Only signed-in members can read a group they belong to, and only admins can create announcements. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Children
Powerline is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Update your name, photo, and mobile number in Profile.
- Turn notification categories on or off in Notification Settings, and turn off notifications in your device settings.
- Limit ad personalization in your device’s advertising settings.
- Leave a group from the group screen.
- Delete your account from Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account, or request deletion by email as described on the Delete account page.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email modezeroitsolutions@gmail.com and we will respond.
International processing
Firebase services used by Powerline may process data in data centers outside your country, including in India (Cloud Functions run in asia-south1) and other regions Google uses for Firebase. Those providers apply their own security and transfer safeguards.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of Powerline after the change means you accept the updated policy.
